Welcome
This website shows a small sample of all my work. I have arranged this into three collections – Landscapes, Forest Fauna and Studies. Together they represent the variety of media used and subjects in my paintings and drawings of the New Forest.
I am regularly producing new paintings and often working on commissions. Please see my contact page for more information.
Landscapes
Landscape paintings are mostly in oil. They are painted either with brush or palette knife, or sometimes both.
Forest Fauna
We all love these local characters that roam the woods, lawns, heathlands and tracks. I favour charcoal, chalk pastel or oil to capture the beauty of these animals.
Studies
I find I am often particularly taken by certain features or aspects of the Forest. I like to study these in detail, capturing their essence in a simple way.
